We all have our own preferences when it comes to cooling down our smoke. Percolators come in many different designs and vary between water pipe manufacturers. A percolator is an extra chamber filled with water in your Water pipe. Typically, the more percolators a water pipe has, the more drag it will have when using it. Because of this, some people just prefer a basic straight tube water pipe with ice pinches for minimal drag. While others prefer to have three percolators stacked on top of each other for maximum cooling. Other companies, like the Helix, use a venturi chamber to air cool the the smoke.
